ABOUT THE POSITION
Into smooth sailing and coasting along? Long, lazy afternoons? Long chats on the phone with your friends? Yes? Forget it, this is not the job for you. We sail unchartered territory. It’s not easy being a Sales Assistant but the job does have its rewards. You learn the mastery of client, account executive relationships. You learn the magnitude of involvement in creating luxury for a home’s attire. We have a steadfast team whose expertise is creating elegant, unique surfaces.
You will become the Account Executives right hand (or left hand and sometimes both) while assisting with their daily trials and tribulations. You’ll show our showroom clients your mastery of efficiency and knowledge. You will be honored to answer phones timely in a professional and cheerful manner. Always using the best telephone etiquette skills no matter what else is going on.
Follow up with customers and co-workers on a timely basis.
Call showrooms with follow up information, new information and client concern’s, obtain data for current contact information.
We’re serious about meeting our goals, so you’ll be entering data into spread sheets to measure our successes. You may assist with marketing functions.
Transport those pesky administrative functions to a new realm of elegance never seen before! Your peers will be mesmerized by your attention to detail allowing you to fill-in for your Account Executive team. Your superb mastery will be so exquisite the client won’t even know.
It is imperative to become “the” expert on stone and glass colors.
Your accuracy in project dimensions is known far and wide. You get a bit frisky in your project photography but this one we’ll overlook because you are so instrumental in getting the job done and off to our showrooms!
Ensure all samples are accurate in color, size, stone finish and cuts.
Your goal is to make yourself indispensable to the Account Executives.
Must have the following skills and education: Associate’s Degree preferred (two year college or technical school).
Experience : One to two years related experience.
Computer skills: Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, Email. Photoshop, InDesign or similar programs. Must have the ability to learn our operations software, Sage 100.
