2. South Central: Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas

PRIMARY FUNCTION OF JOB

The Regional Account Manager will travel extensively to New Ravenna high end dealer showrooms and sales designers. Your purpose is to represent and to sell our luxury products in a way that is representative of our product, culture and high visibility in the hard surface market. This position must understand the high end market, the inner circle of personalities and designer finesse. Your goal is to grow sales through the education of our clients, through training, new product knowledge, display of our products, marketing tools and products, and how to use them effectively. Engage with clients on their needs to achieve their sales goals and plans. You will assess and recommend new showrooms and designers to sell our products and support our quest for the highest sales standards and goals.

 

Essential Duties & Primary Responsibilities:
Engage with showrooms to increase sales: monitoring performance, discussing progress toward goals, assisting in goal achievement.
The expectation is a minimum of a 25% increase in sales in the region within the first year.
Holds showrooms accountable for achieving goals, and representing the New Ravenna brand.
Engage with Architectural and Design (A&D) community and dealer network as appropriate to create awareness of the New Ravenna product and capabilities, including trainings at dealers, presentations at A&D firms, attending industry events and engaging with attendees to promote New Ravenna.
Represent the brand at all times.
Attending trade shows and trade events in order to promote New Ravenna and keep current on competitor offerings insuring we are ahead of the game.
Conducting business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with our products and services. Ensure our clients understand how to sell and market our product and who to sell to.
Alert the account support team and marketing team to opportunities for further sales with key clients.
Serve as first point of escalation for issues/concerns.
Identify gaps in penetration and new candidate showrooms.
Attend meetings and training with clients to build relationships with existing accounts.
Achieve client relationship targets and key performance indicators (KPI) as set by New Ravenna CEO.
Work closely with the internal Account Support Team and other regional account managers. Update the Account Support Team team on any changes within the client data base.
Escalate and resolve areas of concern as raised by clients. Doing whatever it takes to quickly and satisfactorily resolve issues.
Monitor client performance against service level agreements and flagging potential issues.
Passing leads to the Account Support Team and follow up on progress.
Visit installation jobsites as needed to trouble-shoot any product concerns.
Identifies co-marketing opportunities with showrooms, coordinates with Marketing to implement.
Identifies training needs and opportunities for senior management engagement
Coordinates with the New Ravenna marketing team on messaging needs and strategy.

Competencies:
Maintain your own personal high standards in performance, presentation skills, attire and the promotion of the New Ravenna luxury culture.
Passionate understanding of the New Ravenna brand, products and culture.
Keeping abreast of current and future interior design elements such as trends in color, texture, accessories, functionality, shape, architecture, form, and space.
Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth in business.
Strong work ethic. An even stronger need to succeed in high sales.
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers and fellow team members.
Relevant industry experience ideally from a competitor.
Strong Microsoft Office skills – Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambitious environment.
Ability to self-motivate and produce high-level results with minimal supervision and direction.
Ability to present to senior-level executives, as well as communicate well to internal and inter-departmental associates.
Loves to travel and meet new acquaintances.
Knowledge of effective networking, relationship building and new customer sourcing activities.
Must be extremely flexible with client’s needs and schedules as well as your own schedule. Things change quickly and flexibility is required. Waiting on an airline flight for 5 hours is out of your control. You must be able to roll with it.

Qualifications/Education:
Four year college degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of five years of sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
PC proficiency

Work Environment:
This position requires extensive travel via airline and vehicle.
Occasional visits to New Ravenna home office in Virginia as required.
Work from home with computer access to on-line system.

Other Requirements:
All prospective employees must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen test.
Requirement to participate in random drug screen program during length of employment.
Active participation in weekly update phone meetings with CEO and other members of the organization.

Attend trade shows and showroom events as needed.

Thorough and proven understanding of the hard surface, specifically the tile, mosaic, ceramic, and glass industry.
